A Spiritual Make Over
II Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.
Reality Extreme Makeover shows have given us examples in how a house can be remodeled and how a car can be rebuilt. But Thank you Jesus, God can rebuild, remodel, redesign, and reform our lives from the inside out.
1) Rebuild: Decide to make God your first priority in your life - Commit yourself to being a hearer and a doer of God's Word. God declares that we are new creatures in Christ, old things are passed away.
2) Remodel: Focus on the end results, remain steadfast and unmovable, always abounding in the things of Christ. Please do not stunt your growth by looking at the things you can see; but rather trust that God is working all things for His good through you.
3) Redesign: Embrace your new relationship in God. Don't allow anyone or anything to interfere or distract your time of intimacy with Him.
4) Reform: Give daily thanks unto God for the benefits (rewards) you have received, while allowing God to change you from the inside out.
Remember that God gets the glory for the things He has done!
